STACY emerick HELLER

Why I Am

I’d always liked thinking I was smart; quick, witty, decisive, and generous to offer solutions I knew would work to family, friends, and colleagues (ofsten unsolicited). I’ve been humbled by what I actually am; human. I’m also an excellent conduit and translator of information, the kind we share, and the kind we don’t. My ability to readily access that information is what makes me intuitive, my ability to understand, translate, and articulate that information is what makes me happy.

It’s not easy turning what comes naturally into a business, and let’s be real, offering vague services that are seemingly intangible is a hard sell. I twisted, molded, and modeled myself into something I thought would be more acceptable and recognizable; always overcompensating and trying to convince others of the value-add of working with me. It turns out, being “acceptable” and mainstream is not only boring, hard and soulcrushing, it’s not me!

How could I ask my clients to ask themselves the tough questions and engage with their elephant if I didn’t do the same?

Oh and I’ve been married to Pete for 30 years; he makes me laugh and challenges me daily. We’ve raised four kids together that we genuinely enjoy, and together we’ve created a home far away from our east coast roots in the PNW that’s a hub for our friends and family. I love to collect art, overthink, break up with Diet Coke and have an audience.

I named my elephant Frank, because he is.
